Parizaad – An Epic Drama Serial that got Global Acclaim and A Rightful Applaud

Parizaad Drama of Hum TV is a Global Blockbuster
Parizaad and Annie  - Beautiful End of Drama Serial

While watching the finale mega episode of Parizaad yesterday. What was flashing in my mind with eyes all wet was not just the flashback that the director had shown before the presentation of the actual last episode. My flashback was a way different as I was recognizing bits and pieces of myself and of other people whom I have met in my life in the character of Parizad, and the many other characters, both in male and female ways. The writer Hashim Nadeem has written wonders with his hands, and his dialogues and poetry are a perfect online gift that people are sharing with their loved ones out of this blockbuster serial, and on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.

Twitter is trending for these two days, and in fact, from the time the last episode ofParizaad was premiered in local cinemas. The big-screen charm is there but Pakistan is a country where people are more engaged with television, and a replay over YouTube now. The last episode was handled with utmost care and the director’s aesthetics were seen with the drone shots and the swirling camera rounds of snowy mountains, and the roads, the valleys, and the hut where the old but determined "Urdu" teacher was living presentation was awesome and so was the acting by bot leads means Parizaad, played by now a household name “Ahmad Ali Akbar”, and the undoubted superstar of this era named “Yumna Zaidi”, who played the role of the sweet but intelligent blind “Annie”.

As we saw that Parizaad escaped all luxuries and that lonely and miserable life as a left out man after the departure of Annie for the United States. He went to the extreme North of Pakistan, which means Neelum Valley by chance, and became a headmaster’s guest by fate who was solely running a primary school. So, we saw a new twist as he started teaching there and then took over the charge as the great master was ill. It was a new horizon for Parizaad and gave him a new but brighter meaning of life.

The second last episode was ended at a close encounter with Annie, who could see but didn’t recognize Parishad. For the whole week, there was a discussion over social media as to how could she not find any picture of him, and she could have easily guessed him as per her handmade sculpture. In the last epic episode, the disclosure of Sharjeel (Annie’s cousin and secret lover) made it clear that the man who was ashamed of his below-average looks and his dark skin had smashed his statue, and was never interested in having his photos being shot. They both met at the school award ceremony where Sharjeel had come with Annie, as she is a reported working with a news channel. The whole meeting, dialogue, and the acting of Ahmad were superb.

As Parizaad, now known as Ahmad was forced by the topper student to present him with the winner prize, he had to come to dice, and the senior master asked him to say a few words. It was a heart-touching moment as he didn’t want Annie to recognize him by his voice. But he had to speak, and when it happened and we saw a smiling Annie turning into a shocked lady, and then recognizing who was in front of her. Here I cannot say how many words can define how beautiful and hearing touching was the performance and expression changeover by Yumna Zaidi. Hats off to you great performer of Pakistan of this decade….!!

The last scene was a delight to watch when both leads were shown on a hilltop, and where she came said many things, and Parizaad was all grieving in pain. When she closed her eyes and felt her ideal and love of life, Parizaad, it was a fantabulous job. Well-conceived presented but beautifully done by both actors. The high standard of drama was maintained, and viewers were more than moved to see the wows of Annie with tearful eyes, a sense of discovery of her lost treasure.

Yeah! Parizaad, despite his extreme self-pity, was loved by that blind sweet girl. It gives hope to the viewers that physical deformity or the skin, race, and features are not subject to the definition of a good soul versus a bad and unlikeable one. Some critics think as to why the director hadn’t followed the real end of the novel of Parizad. Where he died act made suicide. But I see it’s good that the end was changed to a happy one with elegance and grace. If Parizaad could are dead or done suicide then a very wrong message would have conveyed to millions of viewers that only charming and conventionally beautiful people have a right to live and find love. Which I would never agree upon. Brave Team Parizaad and to Hum Tv for giving us a delightful and eye-opening drama after Raqeeb Se…!!

Annie’s Immense Respect and Gratitude for Parizad is Her Deep Love for Him?

Parizaad and Annie Love Twist

Parizad had a second last episode on screen and it has again mesmerized the audiences. It is an exemplary drama serial showcased by Hum TV network, and that hadn’t lost the audience’s attention for even a single episode. Every episode leaves us in awe and wants to see further. From a viewer’s perspective, we are sad that such an interesting and inspiring dram serial is going to end. Though the magnificence of the lead character Parizaad (who considered himself the most insignificant person on the face of the earth) is going to go with extra miles. The last episode will be showcased in cinemas, unlike Khalilul Rehman Qamar’s blockbuster serial in January 2020. It won’t be as disappointing for the cinemagoers as that went out.

Why I am having this wishful thinking is the fact that though we have seen Parizaad’s journey of life as a perfect example of ‘rags to riches”. But the earthly manner of his personality and the realistic element has never been compromised, and we see each of his conquers as a natural consequence of the life which luck has showered over him. So, we also see that his real personality has not changed, and what is most precious to him is pure love for him. A woman who can love him with his entire being, and not disown him due to his looks like Othello, or not due to his wealth and status.

Annie, a character is played by a great actress named “Yumna Zaidi” is the first person who came into Parizaad aka Ahmad Ali Akbar life with no wants, no desires, no fake emotions. The most important thing is the fact that she is blind but she is in love with his heart and soul. It happened long before she met him due to the beautiful poetry that is her passion. She is a radio jockey and keeps on reciting her poetry and an unseen poet, and then a chance made her close to him and even able to make his statue. Annie loves his words, his deep emotions which are expressed in his poetry. At some point when he realized that he has started living her cute and innocent soul, and want her to be his better half. The confidence was raised as she is blind and he had it in his mind that she would never see his ugliness with open eyes.

The twist in the tale arises when Annie’s cousin came from abroad named “Sharjeel”, and gave a piece of great news that Annie can get an eye transplant. For that time, the consequences are the same as he could get her as his old friend “Nasaaz”, also insinuated him to move forward and express. But the sudden claim of Sharjeel’s love for Annie shatters his dream of finding true love once again. It is so distressing and disturbing for him, and he even thought and actively tried to kill Sharjeel. But the gratitude and immense flow of love, and her admiring words made him realize at the right time to stop his personal guard “Akbar’ for doing the wrong and sinful act of killing the innocent.

Later, we see the departure for the USA scene when Annia and Parizaad are all alone, and how she was overridden with emotions and tears. She was saying that she had never respected anyone in her life as she does to Parizaad. But it is a full-on confession of love, and if Parizaad would have overcome his born inferiority complex then he could easily express his true love for her. I am quite sure that she could never have refused. But from another angle, Annie has not shown the true emotion, and it could also happen that she would have said Yes to him out of gratitude, respect, and as a return of his favors. We see that Parizad never asks for a return of favors, and doesn’t even feel good to get appreciated or receiving of thanks from the people whom he has given so much. Like the presence and thankfulness of “Amjad”, who is a husband of “Naheed’, his first-ever love made him quite uncomfortable.

Let’s wait for the last episode or the finale and it will prove as if Annie really loves Parizaad or it was just a crush and a love for his intellectual skills. At the same time, viewers are desperately waiting for where he is going to leave as per the promo of the last episode, and what if he takes himself so far away that Annie could find no way to express her true feelings and love. As she is continuously insisting him to be the first person when after surgery she would be able to see. She wants to see Parizad and only him as the first person.

Isn’t it a shy way of expressing her deep love, and why Parizad is not picking up the vibes? Let’s wait for the last episode as many people are telling us on social media that Parizaad will suicide, and why he would do that. His loneliness is killing of course but would he wait for Annie’s final call to him or do it before. Why doesn’t deserve a normal love and a life of his own like every sane individual? If he dies then it would be more than a great Shakespearean tragedy and would be devastating and depress the audience for many days and weeks. Won’t it be a negative message for all those people who are facing inferiority complexes due to their looks, skin colors, race, impairments, status, and poverty?

Parizad has Really Created a History with Mastery in Every Aspect of Drama Making with Great Intellect..!!

Parizad Drama - A History Maker

Parizad has become a new phenomenon with the world these days! Yeah! it is not a joke ad not even an overstated thing but a fact that it is ruling the hearts and minds of the drama viewers. Parizaad has gained this repute and success, not just in Pakistan but across borders, and to other parts of the world where people can understand Urdu. I am quite sure that its popularity over the web will take it to other levels with dubbings and subtitles in different languages. Being a Pakistani, a proud moment as we used to find Turkish dramas ruling over the world in different countries and languages. In Pakistan, the trend was initiated with a bang as "Ask e Memnu" was aired on a new television channel in Urdu dubbing. People loved the serial, its presentation and the human beauty, and how mature the Turkish actors are.

Currently, we are watching on Pakistan's state-owned channel PTV with Dirilus Ertugral. It has helped Pakistan Television, to gain lost fame. Yes, there were Golden Times of PTV, when its dramas were not only watched by the Pakistani audiences but to other parts of the world. A private channel is also showcasing the "Kurlus Osman" in Urdu dubbing, who was historically the real son of Erturgral Ghazi, and a real founder of the great "Ottoman Empire" that ruled over three continents for six hundred years.

The mention of how good content rules over electronic and web portals is a new normal. As the post-pandemic world has driven more audiences to go for Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Amazon Prime, and many other entertainment portals. Worldwide closure of cinemas has created a much higher attraction for people to sit in their cozy living rooms or bedrooms and watch high-quality dramas, seasons, movies, and lots more. The content richness, deep and humanistic storyline, realistic touch that is definitely added due to great direction. Then the lead actor who played the role of "Parizaad" named "Ahmad Ali Akbar' has really nailed it. What an Oscar-winning performance and there were many great names of the Pakistan drama industry, who played vital but character roles have done great justice.

Here Parizaad would not have been so successful that its last episode will be showcased in local cinemas as well. It's something historic, and min fact much deserving. Here, an ace actor Noman Ijaz, Ushan Shah, Saboor Ali, Urwa Hoccain, Mashal Khan, and Yumna Zaidi as "Annie" have made it a play that is worth watching multiple times. The writer Hashim Nadim Syed has written a great story, script, beautiful and catchy dialogues, the use of his beautiful poetry is all there to make its quote and pieces of poetry, o be shared on social forums, WhatsApp Status, and friendly shares is awesome.

Now, the story after unwinding has started towards an end. But the masterpiece of Pakistan drama industry of current times, and a presentation of HUM TV has given a relief and direction to others that an intellectually strong, and audience attention can be grabbed at the same time. Let's hope that more masterpieces will be observed after Parizaad and RaqeebSe in coming days....!!

Even Mahira Khan with a Powerful Performance Couldn't Save Hum Kahan ke Sahce Thy from a Flop..!!

Hum Kahan Ke Sahe Thy - An Honest Review

Mahira Khan has impressed me for the very first time with her acting in the currently running drama serial on Hum Television network named "Hum Kahan ke Sache Thy". This means, we were not truthful as the world. It is a metaphorical use of a quotation that leads us to know our very own flaws and in-depth lies that make us successful in the outer world. But it is like a termite that swallows our souls from inside. The paly is produced on the famous short novel by great fiction writer of current times in Urdu Literature named "Umera Ahmad". She is renowned for her literary contibutions like  Meri Zaat Zara e Be Nishan, Man o Slawa, Peer e Kaamil, Aab e Hayat, Shehr e Zaat, Alif, Hum Kahan k Sahe Thy, Daam, SInf e Ahan and lots more to her credit.

Interestingly, all these writeups are adapted and famous drama serials have already been made. But the " Hum Kahan ke Sache Thy" is a bit different as is an insight into human behaviors and psychology, and a lesson to let people know as to how their behaviors and tongue can affect the entire life and personality of a kid in his or her growing years. The drama serial is currently on air every Sunday, at a prime time of 8 pm in Hum TV Entertainment, and the roles of "Mehreen" are very well-played by Mahira Khan, an international name of fame from Pakistan. The role of "Mashal", a very twisted one is also greatly done by Kubra Khan, a comparatively new sensation who has mesmerized the television and film audience with her beauty and performance. Another major character of the story is "Aswad", and it is plainly done by "Usman Mukhtar".

Overall the credit to actors in lead and character roles must be given as everyone is doing justice to what is expected. But there are strong directorial flaws in the drama. Firstly, the story as in the novel is short and the drama is lingered on unnecessarily. There is too much emphasis on melodrama and the background score. By the way, it is a great soundtrack but there is no need to keep on playing it so loud in the whole drama. Then the flashbacks and the mismatched presentation of various characters have destroyed the impact that the novel readers carried in their minds.

How adults behave and talk with putting self-censorship to their thoughts and tongues. Actually, it is spoiling and destroys the growth of young kids. Filling them with unnecessary venom against their own family members. How comparisons, jealousy, and hatred make people full of flaws as adults and responsible citizens. Despite the great acting by Mahira Khan, the drama has lost its initial boost as the audience is too disappointed by the much lingered on presentation, and there are many episodes where simply nothing new happens at all.

The dialogues are not that powerful like Khali ur Rehman Qamar plays, even if he has a simple story to tell to the readers and audiences. The character of Mashal was not properly visualized, as to how and why she was so much in hatred towards Mehreen by the continuous comparisons. How Mehreen is deprived of every good thing is not presented properly, just because her father died and mother had a second marriage. She was dependent on her grandmother, uncle, and aunt for being brought up. It is interesting to point out, as her aunt Selaha always felt so much sympathy for Mehreen. Why she hadn't taken the girl to her home when her only son even lived in the United States.

It could be a blockbuster and an intellectual asset of Hum TV, if the storyline was properly perceived and executed by the director "Farooq Rind" and his producer. Parizaad is also an adaptation of a novel but see how it is ruling the hearts, minds of not just the public but of critics from Pakistan and abroad. Proper execution can make a masterpiece like Money Heist, and a spoiler like Hum Kahan ke Sache Thy. That's sad as how a writer can compromise her beautiful words presentation in literature for the sake of just money...!!

Annie and Parizaad Meetup - A Beautiful Turn in the Drama as Expected

Parizaad - A Dram and History

The Parizaad drama of Hum Television Network has created a new history of a popular drama in intellectual as well as in masses. The deal and tyranny of a below-average-looking man in this cruel world where everything matters in the outward charm, fair complexion, money, lifestyle, and social status. Here, an inwardly bitter but sweet gentle soul like Parizaad, who has now turned out to be P.Z. Mir is like an icon for many in the same family, social circle, and among the people. The ironic slap by the writer as to how we judge people based on outer appearances and the material scores and forget to see the beauty of hearing, mind, and soul is very wisely dealt with in the whole drama presented at Hum Network Television

The human dilemma of classification of people on the basis of color, beauty, class, financial status, race, religion, caste, nationality has never been out of the human psyche. We are as cruel as the characters in the Parizaad who judge his entire being on the basis of his outward appearance. He was a person whose name was prescribed by his mother as she loved him unconditionally. But the world mocked at him due to having a name of a beautiful being, and the personality vice versa.

So, the gain of fame, name, and money by his dead master as inheritance, and now he is recognized and respected by everyone. But, inside there is still a humility, down-to-earth nature, and his loneliness. His childhood complexes of being lesser than normal beings are still there. So, the RJ Annie (Qurat al Ain). Parizad, used to be impressed by her chirpy talks and his confident nature to talk to him, and find every way to reach him. He is impressed as to how much she is impressed by his poetry, his thought process, and his ideas about life that people never bothered except Lubna, who turned out to a prostitute and unreachable. Her mother taught him the biggest lesson of life that if he has money and status then the world will simply ignore his looks, complexion, and his overall flaws in personality. It happened for real after years.

When all of a sudden Annie asked him that she wanted to make a sculpture of him on phone. He is outraged and feels being humiliated again after so much time. Now, with the power and confidence that money has given him. He is outspoken enough not to forgive her, and to be silent but instead shouted at her and asked her to never connect with him again. But, she dared to be in his office the very next morning, and he was first amazed at her confidence, and then rudely asked her to be out of his office. Saying all that misery of being ugly to her, and she was heartbroken. Tried to leave the office, and then it was revealed that she is blind. Oh, what a revelation and what a pang of guilt he got into.

It was an amazing episode where he must we can recall his university fellow Lubna, who is now an ace actress "Mahpara" that she monologued that she wanted to spear the eyes of those who just see Parizaad from his outer self, and don't look at his inner beauty. That's what is the reality now that a girl, who is blind and doesn't know him or can see how he looks has fallen in love with his wisdom, words, intellect, and his beauty of the soul. How he would complement and react to her true feelings is something that is worth looking for in the comping episodes. Yumna Zaidi has again won audience hearts with her cute, fragile, and outclass performance. Ahmad Ali Akbar as Parizaad has already made a mark in the history of Pakistani drama and showbiz with his awesome acting. So, watching the whole drama, Parizaad

Parizaad - A Drama which has Created a New History of Intellectual Media Presentation!

Parizaad - A Blockbuster Serial of Hum TV

It is really very exciting to watch something from Pakistani showbiz and media that carries intellect, wisdom, and a way to compare to the international standards. Here it goes all well with "Parizaad". A presentation of HUM TV Network that is worth watching, talking and recommending so easily to others. I was a novel that was highly praised by readers of modern Urdu Fiction. A very well-written novel by a famous novelist named Hashim Nadeem Syed. He is a heartthrob among television audience with many blockbuster serials that have been aired from different channels over a person of two years.

The important thing is the captivating script, the heart-touching dialogues, and bitter but true reality that goes all well, and the audience from different backgrounds and experiences can relate with either one character or other, and with the wisdom quotes that are spread in every episode of this famous drama serial. The writer had done a tremendous job, and we cannot ignore the depth that the director of the play has taken and his hard work must not be ignored.

How can one talk about Parizad and forget about an otherwise not so famous actor Ahmad Ali Akbar. Wow, what a brilliant performance, and how much he has compromised on his looks, body language and tones, to be in the character of Parizad. A person who is disowned by family, society, and literally everyone except his ever-loving sister for being dark, not good looking as per social and cultural and so-called beauty expert's standards. How he faced humiliations everywhere, and no body bothered to look at his inner beauty, his pure soul and his incomparable values, ethics and sacrifices all through life.

There are so many great actors who have contributed to the success of this great drama like Noman Ijaj, a veteran and brilliant performer. Ushna Shah, who is all time playful and take twists as per her whims and wishes. The Urwa Hussain, who played the role of Behroze Karim's beloved but unfaithful wife. The Mashal Khan, Lubna, a university fellow, a prostitute and then an actress at later times. Saboor Ali, who played the role of a Bubbly Badmash, and done entire justice to her otherwise quite twisted role. Then the powerful performer of the decade, Yumna Zaidi, who has introduced as Annie, and she has an edge of stealing the entire show in any serial where she is present like the currently running one "IshqeLaa".

But we have read the novel, and try to find out how the director ends the play on screen. As we have seen how a bad direction has ruined another great story by Umera Ahmad with "Hum Kahan Ke Sachy Thy". The storyline was great, dialogues, acting by Mahira Khan, and Kubra Khan is brilliant. But the flawed direction has made it a miserable flop, though it worked great in the start. So, the world of Pakistan drama industry will always highlight Parizad, and Ahmad Ali Akbar, who has proved himself as a performer up to world-class level for sure...
